The 2025 SHAgala Dinner/Auction for Sacred Heart Academy is Saturday, February 8, 2025. To be included in the invitation announcements, please email “ADD ME” to shagala@sha.net. This year's theme is “An Evening in the Vineyard.”
SHAgala is Sacred Heart Academy’s single biggest fundraiser. We are pleased to have the support of our Event Sponsors: Fabiano Brothers, Muskegon Development Company, Fr. Loren Kalinowski, and Isabella Bank. These donors set the pace for our success every year, and join us in inviting all parents, alumni, parishioners, and community friends to get involved as well.
For information about SHAgala, contact Lindsay Ley (989) 772-1385 or shagala@sha.net.
SHAgala is the major fundraiser for Sacred Heart Academy. Each year, the dinner/auction event raises thousands of dollars that go directly toward operating costs at Sacred Heart Academy. Throughout its 31-year history, nearly $4 million has been generated. The funds raised keep Catholic education in the Mid-Michigan area affordable, as well as support instruction and educational services.
Sacred Heart parents, parishioners, alumni, family members, friends, and the local business community are invited to take part in any or all aspects of the 31st annual SHAgala on February 8, 2025. There are several ways to support the event:
•Make a donation to the “The Giving Tree” sponsor program, to the collection For the Teachers, or donate an auction item or service. Academy elementary parents can donate to the Classroom Basket program.
•Purchase a cash raffle ticket — only 1,000 are sold, and 17 cash prizes are drawn: one $10,000 prize, one $5,000 prize, and 15 $1,000 prizes. Tickets are $100 each.
•Advertise in the printed program —a limited number of spots are available.
•Volunteer for SHAgala! You will be helping the Academy and making new friends. Extra hands are needed for gift collection, set-up, and clean -up.
