Sacred Heart Academy, a Class D Catholic high school, is a member of the Michigan High School Athletic Association (MHSAA) and the Mid-State Activities Conference (MSAC). We offer a variety of athletic programs from elementary through high school. Students who participate must keep in mind that they are representing not only themselves, but our school, our community, our church, their parents and their team. We are proud of our wonderful athletic traditions and successes, as well as the recognition from the conference and state for our student athletes’ academic excellence.
The opportunity to participate in sports is available to every student at Sacred Heart Academy. SHA recognizes that it is a privilege, not a requirement, to participate in athletics. Student athletes must adhere to the general expectations outlined in the school handbook, which includes the SHA Athletic Code and the rules set forth by the Michigan High School Athletic Association. Our student-athletes are held to high academic standards.
SHA Athletic Association makes it possible for our students not to have to pay to play. However, volunteerism at concessions, gates, fish fry, and other activities is expected by both students and/or parents. Athletic events and activities at SHA would not be possible without generous support from sponsors and donors. We are very grateful to acknowledge them here in our 2024-25 Fall Sports Program.
